Announcing Subako.AI, a Cloud Platform for Running AI Agents, and a Developer Hackathon on September 14

Kikuvi has announced Subako.AI, a cloud platform for delivering AI agents to customers inside your own product, and opened its teaser site. Alongside the announcement, Subako.AI Hackathon, an event for developers, will be held in Shibuya, Tokyo on Monday, September 14, 2026. General availability is scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026.
For an agent to create value inside a product, it needs a runtime outside the model: a way to keep long-running processes alive, to hold state and resume after a dropped connection, to run code safely, to store credentials, and to reuse procedures and knowledge. None of this comes with an inference API, and today it is usually built from scratch for each product. Subako.AI provides that runtime as a shared cloud platform.
Harness, session, sandbox, vault, and skills are available together through a Web SDK and a Server SDK. An agent keeps running to completion even after the user closes the screen, and the model can be chosen to fit the requirements of the product. Product teams can focus on the customer experience they want to deliver with AI rather than on building the runtime.
At the hackathon, participants will integrate Subako.AI into the products or side projects they are building themselves. Registration is open for 30 seats, free of charge.
